Project: Lawrence Hargrave Drive Retaining Walls

Asset Owner: Wollongong City Council

Scope: Remove unsafe decrepit wall and construct a new block retaining wall with integrated stairs, including hand rails, in order to make the area safe for high volume of pedestrians using the area. 

Project Details:

• Demolition of existing concrete wall and stairs
• Relocate utilities in the area
• Construct Tasman block curved retaining wall
• Includes precast concrete staircase for pedestrians
• Install handrail applied to top of wall and stainless steel handrail for stairs
